Wu Zhihui’s (1864-1953) advocated before the 1911 Revolution a Kropotkinian form of anarchism that combined with his Confucianism. He joined Sun Yat-sen to overthrow the Qing dynasty. His insistence on education influenced many Chinese intellectuals.
