The coming together of two successful events in libertarian culture is giving shape to the creation of the 1st International Window of Anarchic and Libertarian Culture which will also host the 2nd International Anarchist and Libertarian Book Fair and the 3rd Festival of Art & Anarchy.
International and Internationalist perspectives have broadened to the extent that they have become a constituent element and part of the programme. Different communicative approaches have been included in a specific cultural context extending dimensions of publishing and artistic events. References for organization and coordination are three committees:
The Welcoming Committee, which is headed by the Florentine Libertarian Collective (email) has for example been made responsible for connecting up all the activities needed for accommodating guests (sleeping accommodation, logistics, food, equipment), and has also decided to become active in other interventions (production of badges, t-shirts and art installations).
The Art& Anarchy Committee, which is responsible for the “ApARTe°” (email) magazine in Venice, will connect activities giving continuity to the 3rd edition of Art & Anarchy (with the usual biannual which takes shape in self-managed events throughout the globe and which label themselves in accordance with agreements made) and will at the same time coordinate activities concerning shows for the Florentine event.
The Publishing Committee, headed by the Archivio Famiglia Berneri – Aurelio Chessa in Reggio Emilia (email), will coordinate the exhibition activities (publishing and communication in general), for the International Window on Anarchist and Libertarian Cultures.
All this once again outside of the market logic which has become a part of the production of cultural events by public and private powers. The style is anarchist, the contents are anarchist and the ways of creating relations are anarchist.
