This very well attended but controversial symposium was particularly highlighted by the round table on anarchisme and literature, with the presence of Ursula Le Guin, the first lady of science fiction, with playwright Barbara Garson and poet Barbara Drake.
It was reported by Robert D’Attilio in Black Rose, (Spring 1980) and Caroline Cahm, in Freedom vol. 41 n° 11 (June 7, 1980). There was a response by David Wieck in Freedom vol 41 n°12, who was outraged at the fact that the support came from official state institutions.
