Since the end of the 19th century, when artists, bohemians and anarchists shared many views about the world, there were a few anarchist cabarets in France or Germany. Cabaret Voltaire, Zurich (Switzerland) was started in 1916 by Hugo Ball. Such was the beginning of the Dada art movement.
