Along the lines of the general theme of the 25th International Congress on the History of Science and Technology (ICHST), to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 23 to 29 July 2017, the IGU & IUHPST Commission on the History of Geography organises two symposia on “Critical, radical and postcolonial geographies and cartographies from early approaches to present-day debates” and “Geography as an international science : historical perspectives and present challenges”.

Dans le cadre du thème général du 25e Congrès International d’Histoire des

Sciences et des Technologies (ICHST) qui aura lieu à Rio de Janeiro, Brésil, du 23 au 29 juillet 2017, la Commission Histoire de la Géographie de l’UGI et de l’IUHPST organise deux symposiums sur « Géographies et cartographies critiques, radicales et postcoloniales dès les débuts jusqu’aux débats contemporains » et « La géographie comme science internationale : perspectives historiques et défis actuels ».
