Though often neglected in scholarly historiography, anarchist ideas and actions have certainly played a prominent role in late-modern social and economic history. This session explores how the anarchist movement, and it’s underlying ideas, have been documented and theorized within the historical discipline. The session welcomes papers on empirical and theoretical themes, thus encompassing both social movements informed by anarchism, as well as anarchistic readings of economic-historical phenomena.
