a collection of stories and lessons from a guy who devoted his life to resisting imperialism and trying to make the world a better place, no matter where that journey took him - like the book title says, whether in the SDS, the Weather Underground, or beyond... And as it turns out, it eventually took him to prison, with a 75-year-to-life sentence for his part in the failed Brinks armored car robbery in Nyack, New York, in 1981.
Launches and discussions about David’s book have been occurring all over the place. Here i’d just like to share a few with you, that i think live up to David’s hope that this book would be the beginning of a conversation and an appraisal of the struggles of his generation, and how they can be used by today’s activists, rebels, and revolutionaries.
